ReturnBoost Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using ReturnBoost ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please uninstall the app through your Shopify Admin immediately.

2. Description of Service

ReturnBoost empowers Shopify merchants with:

  • A branded, self-service Buyer Return Portal (/portal?shop=...);
  • Automated 3-tier retention funnels (Keep-The-Item instant partial refund, Store Credit + bonus voucher, low-value auto write-off);
  • Native customer mail-in tracking capture;
  • Zero-carrier reliance architecture without external courier API downtime.

3. Subscription & Shopify Billing

  • Free Tier: Free forever. Includes up to 5 processed returns per calendar month with zero subscription fee.
  • Pro Tier: US$9.99 billed every 30 days, with an initial 7-day free trial. Includes unlimited return requests and advanced store credit bonus engines.
  • Shopify Billing Compliance: All billing transactions are managed directly through the official Shopify Billing API (appSubscriptionCreate). ReturnBoost never solicits or stores external payment card data.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time by uninstalling the application from your Shopify Admin. Unused portions of billing cycles are handled in accordance with official Shopify billing policies.

4. Merchant Responsibilities

  • You retain full control over return policy parameters, eligible return timeframes, and customer support resolutions.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that all return guidelines and automated deduction percentages configured in ReturnBoost comply with your local consumer protection laws.
